The Executive Lounge has the ambiance of a private club, with high-backed leather chairs and cozy alcoves. Sherlock’s Grill offers intimate dining, while the bar provides a vibrant alternative. Open fires create warmth throughout.

Insider tip: Despite the name, this is not a themed hotel. References to the great detective are tasteful and subtle: the brass bust behind the bar, a scientific jar in one of the hallways. However, guests will need their powers of deduction for the daily brainteaser, left on the pillow each morning by the maid.
